Minerals are nutrients that are vital for life.  These inorganic compounds are naturally present on Earth, with many found in both soil and water. Minerals support our skeletal structure and teeth.  Minerals are essential components of bodily tissues and fluid, and they help maintain the healthy function of all enzyme systems.  Nearly every service our bodies perform is in some way dependent on mineral nutrients.
